| Hi all, Need feedback/ suggestion on irons. Thinking of Ikasu/ Nakashima.....etc...current/ past users, please comment.
Looking for something that offers accuracy for my approaches and longer distance than current set if possible (mizuno mx200).
had 2 sets of ping (i3 fiitted in dubai, rapture fitted in singapore).
mizuno mx200 i bought from US thus not fitted...maybe should look at getting them fitted instead as distance has been longer recently??
thanks lotzzzz | |

| Would be worthwhile to go for a fitting session and it's certainly a worthwhile consideration to keep your mx200 if you like it. Shop around for a good club fitter as you need to find one that you feel comfortable with; that's what I did. Loft adjustments are generally easy to do on forged irons and a good club fitter would be able to tell you if the shaft is right for you. | |

| Hi Eden,
I dun think a new set of iron will improve your accuracy or distance much as much of it boils down to your swing. However, it will be good if you get yourself fitted so that you will have an equipment that suits your swing rather than you having to adjust and suit the equipment. I would suggest that you pay a visit to the gongtao master in BFG. He is one hell of a club fitter and if he feels that you are not at the stage to get fitted, he will nicely turn you down and ask you to spend the money on seeing a pro first before getting yourself fitted.

Then why didnt he turn you down previously since you keep asking 9-9 from me...

| kk thanks for all the advice. playing low 90s, high 80s regularly but keep seeing my short irons going left of where i am aiming. strangely mid, long irons not such issue.
feel that the grip size seems bigger than those at golf house...so was wondering if my US set (shaft) needs to be looked at.
will drop by bfg to visit the gongtao master.
