| Haha...My other half use to say GOLF is "Golongan Orang Lupa Family" which mean group of ppl who forget their family. I have to admit, when I first started, everything is about golf, makan golf, shopping golf, TV golf, talk golf, read golf, attire golf, swing check whenever come across mirror, weekdays golf, weekend range etc..etc.Who wouldn't, with siblings and bro in law into golf, enough for 1 flight, its golf..golf..golf. On playing days, leave home early morning and back home late evening. After a year golf...golf...golf,kana lectured by the missus, we slowed down but still going strong and steady and spend equal time with family . Its family "golf" now. Best of both world, we golf, kids enjoy clubhouse facilities while missus enjoy spa and massage... | |

| Play pool with non-golfer. When it is not my turn. I will practice setup as thought i am going to do a swing. Received weird stare from the other tables occasionally. | |

Sex and golf don't mix? Errr I don't know... I think the common sickness of golfers is doing swing checks in front of any random mirrors, mock swings whenever standing upright and having nothing to do, annoying other non-golfers with this irritating dry movement, maciam show-off. For me now besides going to ranges to practice (I promise myself I am going to play very well one day), I spend time with family (lots of driving, but not complaining coz I love driving my car) and also getting musically involved in church. Own many guitars (electric, acoustic, classical, bass, ukelulu) and an electric piano, 2 amps, etc. Guitarists also have sickness known as GAS (guitar acquiring syndrome). I have stopped buying musical instruments after getting complaints from family member due to taking up too much space at home. Forced to sell one Fender Stratocastor away. When I got a golf set, I actually had to hide it. I sing regularly for our contemporary church band. Having supper (tau huay, durian, teh, kopi, etc) with good friends is a necessity to help me keep my sanity. Family and friends to me are very important. Also spending alot of time surfing the net and chatting with friends. That's already a lot... I actually don't like to work but I guess I have no choice.... | |
