Who you think will take home the Claret Jug this weekend @Hoylake?
Considering his lay-off after his vertebrae op and he missed the cut in the recent Quicken Loan Championship, I doubt the great TW is ready to take this one home ...
Bubba Watson & Jordan Spieth lack experience in Link Course ... Phil Mickelson is out of form lately ... Rickie Fowler is inconsistent ... So is Rory McIlroy ... Lee Westwood so far did not finish well in Major championship albeit he might be in contention ... Ernie Els has past his prime for Major Championship unless luck is on his side again this time round ... Will Scottish Open winner, Justin Rose makes a back-to-back win this Sunday? I'm afraid Sergio Garcia may not have what it takes to win the Open ...
My bet is on either Adam Scott or Henrik Stenson this time ... Especially the former who is even hungrier due to his one-time meltdown in the final round in 2012, which led to Ernie taking the Claret Jug home by default ...

Someone please remind Rory tomorrow is Friday.
If most prepared, then my money's on Adam Scott. While most were at the Scottish Open, he was already at Hoylake practicing everyday.
If most in form, then it's Justin Rose who's bagged two tourneys back to back recently. As an Englishman, he's not only the hometown favourite, he's also familiar with links golf.
My sentimental fave is Henrik Stenson though. He's been bridesmaid more than once, so he's definitely got the game for it. That, and I enjoy watching his swing and style of play.
Now if Rory can get around Freaky Friday, we've got another horse in the race.
By the way, anyone notice how many flies there are? Keep hearing them buzzing around the microphone and just saw a bunch flitting back and forth across the tv screen.

Just snapped his wedge. Stenson not playing well 72.

One thing that really stood out for me.. Quite a number of Japanese in the top 30 or so. Would be interesting to see what fairway and green stats they would have..Japan tour courses are very narrow so you'd expect most of them to drive it pretty straight.good on them!

Anyone saw The Big Easy back-handed putt on the 1st hole??? Wondering what was going on in his mind then??? Possibly affected by his tee-shot hitting a spectator on the head.

His thigh must be damn strong to have snapped his X-Flex steel shaft into two ...
