Badminton grips on golf clubs

Has anyone tried using badminton grips on golf clubs and playing without gloves?

Any comments on comfort, durability, etc etc?

Also, if they get wet from rain, do you need to change?

I am sure somebody has tried it before ... was hoping someone can fill me in on the pros and cons, will probably setup the spare set I keep at the golf simulator so don't need to care about gloves

You can try winn grips which is very similar to badminton grips with the soft cushy feel. My wife stop getting blisters since switching

I know I sound a bit cheap ... but Winn grips will be about $15-$20?  I think badminton grips are $3-$5 each ... definitely the badminton grip tape will wear out faster ... question is how fast will they wear out ...

unless you change the grip by yourself?

hmmm ... maybe my title is a bit misleading ... was referring to the rubber/latex/towel tape you can buy at most badminton shops that you place on top on the existing badminton grip

installing those rubber tape on top of existing golf grip is straightfoward and can be done at home without special equipment, unlike changing golf grip

I had my tennis toalson grip on my driver as well.
Damn tacky, but the thing is it won't last when you pull in and out from the bag.
And with dirty and sweaty glove, especially at driving range.... It's like 1 session affair.
