Ping I20 hybrids 17 deg vs 20 deg - different sound at impact?

Hi all, recently I bought 2 i20 hybrids, 17 deg and 20 deg. 
Today I took them out on the course, realized they sounded totally different... 17 deg hybrid face gives a "ping" sound while 20 deg hybrid face gives a "click" sound. Any owner of these two hybrids out there to share if this is normal? Thanks.

Which shaft? Project X and TFC sounded different when I demoed them.

Project x 6.5 both...

I'm playing the i20 hybrids, 17*, 20* and 23* on steelfibres.  Personally, they sound the same to me...unless there's a off centre hit.

I think its normal. My 17* has a loud "ping" sound compared to 23* seems muted. Both r now on px6.5.
Im gonna reshaft them this weekend. If they sounds different again, will let u know.

Thanks for the inputs bros. Even tapping on the face with the back of finger gives a "ping" sound on 17 deg compared to a muted "click" sound on the 20 deg.
Just wanna check that it's not defective piece here. 

Also seems like these hybrids play like fairway wood more than iron even though heads are small I realised.
