| AFAIK, there's no rule which says that you must use brand-specific grips to match the brand of your clubs. I had a set of Callaway X-20s and swapped all the grips from Callaway grips to Golf Pride Multi-Cords... lovely. I now have a set of Mizunos and was thinking of doing the same. What was the reason for the need to change back to S-Yard grips? There must have been a specific reason for the necessity. If not, I say go speak to a club fitter to see if they have any suggestions. If it's fine, go for the Golf Pride grips | |

| Would the weight of the grip alter the swingweight of the club? Maybe a reason for using only S-year grips for the S-year clubs as the weight of the S-year grips are specifically meant for the clubs? | |

| weight of most grips range from 40g-60g, as long as the grip weight is similiar, it will not affect SW......
i have yet to hear grip specific to clubs, its akin to cars using only one brand of tyres (not possible mah)
S yard also must use back S yard shaft if broken?!!! | |
