Wow... Now that you mentioned him... He was one of my fav players for a while... If recall correctly, he injured his wrist during some sea sports, surfing maybe, and after that injury, never got his game back... Remembered following him a bit during the 08/09 Barclays Sin Open... A real pity.. That's the harsh reality of being a professional sports althlete.. One day you're are somebody... Next day a nobody...

I can mention another golfer who somehow has disappeared in the limelight.
Woody Austin, the Aquaman, is one of my fav Golfer and AK.
Too bad, injuries have caused their downfall

Another one would be, one time World's 1 and 2001 British Open champion, David Duval who was also plagued by injury ... Since then, he has not rebounced ... Pity!

"My dad was a one handicapper. The first time I beat my dad was when I was 11"
Damn I'm imagining my son saying that in the future. So now I need to focus on becoming a one handicapper.

He must be enjoying his life now, though as an athlete you wonder when (not if) he gets itchy and wants to compete again. With his talent he can win more than $10 million in prize money and endorsements.
Problem is, he just has to work for it.
