| Very good deal for those who likes it.
But likewise, no point for me unless I can get it to the distances

It just helps in club selection and measuring drive distance. Personal experience: I was at a 100m marker and the bushnell measures 110+m. Instead of short, at least my ball managed to hit the green for putting instead of chipping. Also helps to train my eyes for distance estimation. I use it every game now as it gives me confidence in terms of club selection. Takes one factor out of a very challenging game.

I have a bushnell v2 pro. Agree that this device does not perform miracles but its all about the confidence it gives you.

| Can use range finder to find out distance to water and bunker which distance marker cant tell you. Sometimes you just feel the distance given by the distance marker is out and want to confirm and make sure. If you borrow fairway, you can also know the distance. Really take the guessing of distance out and helps in club selection. | |

| When judging distance, my estimation is usually quite zun. But when it comes to execution, I am usually in trouble getting my ball there. | |

LOL ... same for me, knowing the distance but cannot control my distance accurately. so range finder is no use to me (or perhaps just for showing off). Think I would rather use the money to upgrade or custom fitting my clubs.
