Hi all,

searched and did not find a thread on this course so here goes.

I played Ghafar and Governor today. Abit disappointed no chance to try Tunku (closed), that's where the monster 600m hole is. Anyway long story short, the course is not capable of keeping itself hydrated during this period. All brown and dry and very very hard! There were about 12 holes I couldn't stick my tee down, I just hit from the deck on the Par 3s and spent a lot of time looking for previous tee holes that I could use on the Par 4s and 5s. When playing my irons on the fairway, felt like hitting a tuning fork on a stone.

Lots of mature trees all around. You can call it jungle. Melaka Zoo just beside, a few holes couldn't really concentrate cos monkeys were calling out loudly "slice your driver until like that should tee off with 3wood lah!"

Green is …….6/10. Very hard also. A few approach bounced and rolled so far on the green ended up on the apron. And what I observe during putting, the ball is very jumpy and rolls erratically.

Saving grace was that I used the voucher book and paid RM$38 only for buggy. Quite unbelievable pricing. Hope to be back there another time when the weather is kinder.

Cheers guys. Hope this helps.

Bro Nam Flog,
same condition in Palm Resort G&CC, Johore. Mishit ball can roll almost 250 yards on a slightly downhill fairway.

Yeah I thought so too. I was saying to my flight mate that I bet most other courses are the same condition in Malaysia.

Most funny thing is the fair way so hard…..still buggy on track!!! HAha!
