I believe some kakis here been to this course. Riverdale Golf Club, a 3-4 years golf club. Managed by the MBK group which also managed the Red Mountain and Loch Palm in Phuket. It's buggy compulsory and the unique of this course, is the par 3 with 2 holes, so get to choose either one.

the island green photo looks like a fun hole Smile looks pretty wide open, but i can see a lot of undulations on the fairways and greens! must have had a lot of uneven lies?

looks like a fun course!

One needs some skill to play the island green in the pic above ... Challenging, manz!

The course is very well maintained ... Awesome! How I wish we have this kinda standard available in JB ...

The Island green is about 100-120 yards only IIRC.

Depending on which course you are talking abt. But I guess if there's no competition should be ok.

Most bkk courses do accept walk in but best is to email them to confirm your date/time and number of pax. Some courses are members only so you will need to have a member to sign u in.

This is a tricky course, but conditions are excellent.   Need to have good course management.  There is a Par 3 with 2 holes to choose - up onto the hill or down to an island.
I think it's a public course, but green fees is a bit high though.

There is a few nice course near airport, u can consider playing there and easier to make ur way down to airport after ur game. At least u are out of bkk main city traffic woes

Green valley is a rather nice course to play.
There is another course called Subhapruek near to the airport which is good too.

Hi folks... For those interested...
Yes..riverdale is a really nice course..
The facilities are very new and it is well maintained...

Not much shade around.. So get your brolly handy..

Greens are ok... Can see a few brown patches here and there... Maybe due to the super hot weather now...
But it's not the worst you can find...

For beginners whose balls end up in the shrubs or water 50% of the time (like me).. No worries..
They do sell balls at the break stops... Thb100 per pack...
The number of balls range from 5 -8.. Depends on the type of balls in the pack...

Enjoy folks..

Just back from BKK.  Thana city course is in excellent condition.  Thailand open was supposed to be held there 2 weekends ago, but cancelled due to coup.  All thai open T-shirt clearing at 400Baht.
