Finally golfing in Bangkok after 2 years, this time had 3 rounds of golf with wonderful weather. 1st day played in this course, Cascata, along the stretch same as Lam Luk Ka Country Club only it's further down the road. It's a 27th holes golf course. It's a relatively new golf course which is opened in 2006, but the C course is relatively challenging.

Next day, Muang Kaew Golf Course, not very far away from the city centre. In fact this golf course is opposite the other course I'm sure many GRians heard before, Summit Windmill. It's rather busy since it's Sunday. We were joined by a couple of Koreans and the lady is rather good but still lose to our mloy for sure. Anyway this course is a Par 72, Lee Schmidt designed, with a blind par 5 which required you to drive over the sheltered driveway.

The highway behind is the highway to airport.

Signature Par 5 - Need to hit your tee shot over a shelter driveway to the club house. A completely blind drive need to believe in your caddie judgement.

Well most of the fairways are relatively flat in Bangkok due to the land are mostly padi fields, but the rough can be quite hard to get it out also plenty of water hazards come into played on the 2nd/3rd shots especially Muang Kaew. Another thing to note, Thai seem to favour fast greens. All the 3 course I played the green speed register 10+ for all 3.

Not cheap leh....abt $60, they do have others character and they also had the doeramon for mallet putter. Saw this Ltd SC cover in Scotty Custom in Taniya. The cover was made for Thailaind only selling $200+, faint...

Btw they also have the one piece head covers, price around 1700 baht and 2000 baht for fw and driver.

Lam Luk Ka Country Club, 36 holes golf course. It's further away from the city, by car takes abt 30-45 mins using highway. The championship course, A&B, is 7012 yards from the blue. It's nearer to the Cascata on the 1st day. This is the most mature course of the 3 I played because it's build in 1994. I played the championship course even from the white, the par 3 are easily abt 150 yards and several par 4 go beyond 360 yards. Definite will go back again if possible. This course held the 2002 Thailand PGA Championship.

Nice.

Its a long walk from hole 12 to this hole 13 if you are not using a buggy.

Well I played cascata 3 times. Mainly because my Thai friend know the nephew of the owner so the price is relatively cheap for us. But LLK is the bargain.
