| I bought a loose 4i during the world of golf sales. It's a tourstage ViQ. It says premium forged with nspro regular flex. Compared to other forge irons like the TaylorMade MB forged and even the new callaway forged apex .... I didn't know the feel is so so much different. The ViQ just feel so much better.... It's the shaft or the forged iron head? I am now so contemplated to switch to forged irons....

But I am quite a sucker for Japanese stuffs. Hahah

| Hmmm maybe you should also try some epons, muira and some our Japanese forged clubs. There are diff types of materials used as well like the 1020, 1025 and etc. I currently own a few diff Japanese clubs and although they are all forged, they also feel diff. Dun just go with feel when the ball contact, you also need to see playability | |

| It is the way they process the club after it is forged that matters. Forged the club, then need to grind , bend , HEAT treatment, chrome and polish the head. Too hard, feeling no good, too soft, wear n tear too fast. the Balancing also important.
If you feel shiok and can get distance, go for it. ( U have not try my 20 years old forged irons B stone , so soft)

| had a chance to hit some EPON's last weekend and they feel amazing. can't go wrong with MIZUNO grain flow forging either!
different forging processes probably make the feel different between each company, but definitely a combination of the shaft/head too.

| Feel is still very subjective which swing weight plays a part as well. I have an old honma irons which is not forged, but it still feels great. | |

| If money is not an object and if you wish to enjoy the feel of a good quality pure forged iron, consider Miura irons ... | |

| I am not sure. Lost track of it for a few years and only now then I am slowing coming back.
Most of the time I chat with fellow golfers at range and if they are kind enough, they will let u try.

| Miura blades are a must! Especially the baby blades if you can hit them! You can try them at torque golf at punggol range! | |

| If you compare to others, they are quite aright.
But I am saying for the irons. Not too sure about their woods.

Yea.... provided you can hit the sweet spot consistently. miuras are not forgiving heads. I used to own a set of tournament blades and just could not handle them. When the contact is not on the sweet spot, the feel is very harsh. I went back to my cobra pro cb irons which are forged too. I was able to hit the sweet spot more as they were more forgiving compared to the miuras. now I am using the 2013 callaway x forged. It is even more forgiving and softer than the cobras. my take on this, stay away from unforgiving heads. cast irons can be very soft too, when the contact is good. my old tm r7 tp heads (cast) were quite good too. The reason why I switched over to forged was because of my physique and needed to bend the lie angle more upright to cater to my 6'2" build. cast irons cannot be bent as I will run into a risk of breaking the heads if I were to do it.

| Ping? Nope... Never tried them. I am biased towards callaway for USA brands. Only my last set, I bought the rocketbladez becoz my wife was also getting a set. When I bought the loose ViQ 4i, the club head looks small, so minimal offset and rather unforgiving look. But it's only $19.... So what the heck, I just buy and try. It proves that the look is quite deceiving.... The feel is the best I have tried among all my Callaway and TaylorMade irons. | |
