Ringgit Rate

Last changed somewhere about 3 weeks ago at 2.57. Just saw spot at 2.6150. Anybody changed it in the last couple of days or yesterday? Thanks.

CNY period, u won't get very good rate lah. Wait until after CNY.

lately i noticed, money changers @ change alley buy myr/sgd about inter bank mid rate, n sell myr/sgd much higher

anybody getting decent rate recently?

Last year same time, if I remember correctly, every SGD100 you lose RGT10. Example. Spot rate lets say 2.60, you only get at 2.50.

TT at Arcade can get 2.6++
Cash around 2.57++

Such thing is too risky lah...it's not as if you change a lot like few k at a shot.

Wah! You guys talk like you're changing millions (or probably are, given some of the folks here).

The point difference isn't much in reality but I do agree, every bit helps. But, some forget that trekking here and there incurs an expense which ultimately, may eat into that supposed better rate you receive.

Read from my FB that Bukit Indah circle roundabout money changers are giving the rate of 2.58.

It is hard to get official rate when it is more than 2.6 ...

Another thing is the exchange rate offered by SG money changer is always better than Msia money changers' (furthermore it is safer to change money in SG, who knows if there is someone watching and follow you after u change money in Msia or not).

Anyway the exchange difference is not very significant unless u change damn a lot, so in my case just change some when i feel the rate is good and reasonable to me
