| Dear Shifus, I would like to do a survey of hit rate of senior golfers. Takes for an example:
Driver - Out of 10 hits, how many are good shots when you are on the green? Wood - Out of 10 hits, how many are good shots when you are on the green? Iron - Out of 10 hits, how many are good shots when you are on the green? Out of bunker shot - Out of 10 hits, how many are good shots when you are on the green?
I have been playing for a while but still cannot seems to be consistent to hit the sweet spot.

| First two q should have been translated to :
1. Fairway hits 2. GIR rate

| I think by green, he means on the golf course.
I remm when i first started, i used to say 'when are we going onto the green' as a way of saying 'when are we gonna play on a proper golf course' as opposed to going to the driving range.

I have been playing for a while but still cannot seems to be consistent to hit the sweet spot. although I am not a shifu, but I just kaypoh if ok. Driver: If I hit driver , out of 10 times, I typically get 5-6 only...but short le Wood: out of 10 times, I get 0...coz donno how to use wood. Just slotted a 4 wd in my bag for coming game. Iron: I will assume tat is non wedge.....50% Out of bunker....I pretty suck in this.......20% success rate. so..there you go....now you know why I am not shifu....just SB

| Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to course rather than green... As for experience, i was referring to those who have been playing golf for a while | |

| Firstly , I'm definitely not a pro and shifu, this isn't my professsion either, I just love to play this game only. After playing for awhile , I do understand course management is equally important, even you topped the ball and happened that ball landed the best location for your 2nd shot or if lucky enough .. ball is on the green.. wow.. you'll feel shiok, Birdie chance!! About your survey, I try to answer as much as I could. Driver- 95% can hit the ball and can land anywhere Wood - I don't use wood but hybrid . 100% hitting the ball but again can land very near also, sometime it will goes for spa.. Iron - 90% hit , it can go anywhere also, only 5% goes the direction I want.. out of Bunker Shot - 25% hitting out of bunkers | |
