They're offering same rates as Palm Springs $98 nett which I've played thrice already, so thinking of playing here on my next visit to try a different course.

Can anyone advise based on your experience at Tering Bay?

Coz each time I visit Batam on a weekday, the Palm Springs counter at the ferry terminal is full of people while the Tering Bay side has zero or just 1 or 2.

Thks

Thanks! Sounds good. Just puzzled why Palm Springs seems to always have better crowds between the 2.

I would say because it has more holes.

I prefer Tering Bay more challenging and personally I find better caddies.

I prefer Tering Bay too. Nice greens, good caddies, soft bunkers.

Went back to Tering Bay this month after a long hiatus.

The course is in pretty good shape, caddies are friendly too.  It's a Greg Norman course so holes are relatively open and wide, with a smattering of bunkers waiting for your ball.   Basketball

I last played there in 1996 in social tournament on a weekday. The tournament teed off from Black Tee. My God! Every 2nd shot is almost a wood. I remembered playing 104. And guess what, I came in 4th. That's shows how tough it was back then.

Maybe it's time to revisit the place again.  bounce

tering bay is a wonderful golf course. I wouldn't say it is any worse off compared to Palm Springs. Palm Springs have much nicer views though. Was there last week and condition was good. Definitely worth the visit

I was in tering bay last month... first time on the green... and I only lost 4 balls....
so I would say it is definitely a good course to play in... for beginners....=)

Course condition better than palm spring.
Palm spring has faster and more challenging greens but not in good condition.

$98 is inclusive or exclusive of ferry? Time to start planning for labour day!

Tering Bay is not as good as Palm Springs as the course's only feature is the abundance of bunkers. I think there's 72 in total...

Palm Springs gives you more variety and is visually nicer to play on IMHO.

Nice course to play with many sand bunkers to watch out for.

Played here today, super hot then rain then hot again then rain again....

Condition was reasonably good. Lotsa sand bunker practices.
