Chipping and Putting Practice

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me where I can go to practice chipping, putting and bunker shots? The ranges I have visited do not have these facilities unless you are a member.

so far i went MBGC ($10 per person for an hour) and Laguna (available to range card holder)

MBGC got more area for you to practice....the bunker is inhuman....basically if u in the bunker, no one can see u....

Laguna area smaller...then no one watch the area...think i saw ppl just walk in to practice...

Never putt at green fairway but think i saw that it is available to anyone who pay for the green fees....but dun think i saw any bunker or space for chipping...very flat piece of ground for putting....

Thanks kbeng, that's close to home so I'll check it out. Really like the idea of a range with grass to hit from rather than a mat.

there's a chipping and putting area at mandai executive golf course, think its open to public
not sure if they have a bunker for practice though

Yes, there is a bunker as well... not sure about the quality of the sand though.

Lots of ppl go there to practise; so far never encounter anyone being checked.

Bro, do they actually measure the time you take, i.e. do they blow a whistle when it's an hour?

for NSRCC, practise greens and chipping have to marshal. However, if you drive, the parking is $10 although not sure if that is per hour or per entry basis. Non member will not be able to use the range facilities though.

The parking is around $2.15 if you're there for 2-3 hours. And as long as I practice there, I never got anything from Marshall.

i think NSRCC's parking is $2.14 per entry for weekdays
