The ball picking machine is driven by wheels & tires ... It would not damage the carpet or real grass.

When I was in Myanmar back in 2003, the driving range was rather unique, You purchase the golf ball a lady follow u, every time when you hit the ball the lady would place one for you! Why? labour is cheap in Myanmar! after awhile they whistle every one has to stop hitting the ball, a row of ladies in long line, move forward and collect all the golf ball. ort Onc back at the zone, whistle blow again to start!! Really 3rd world driving range, no machine ball collector! I heard there was once a very impatient golfer can't wait for the poor lady to place the ball on the short tee, he swing down wards and smash her hand, that golfer has to compensate her a lot of money for that silly mistake! No sure today after 10 years! must have changed!

No sure today after 10 years! This is really an eye-opener for me especially the whistle part & collection of balls together in one go ... I remember when I was in a golf club in HCMC, Vietnam many years ago, a young gal did what you said above but I dun remember the whistle and ball collection part. So those who have finished hitting all the balls have to wait for the rest to finish before they could proceed to hit again, huh? This is really funny!

| Erm... Went Punggol this morning to try some youtube stuff to generate some hip power. There were no metal dividers so i placed a basket at the right front. Made an off-centre shot and the ball punched a hole into the plastic basket. Plastic shrapnel from the basket flew all over the place. The force was quite shocking at the moment. | |

| So how bad is the range actually? I was thinking of moving there for my practice instead of occ as I'm staying in hougang area.
From the above reviews, it seems that the place is still not properly run.

| Was there last sat..... there were some brand new mats and some old ones. But overall 1st floor mats are well maintained. Parking fees is relatively cheap now since the revised.

| Maybe I should try out punggol range soon. But sorry to say, but seems like public golf range like punggol and MBGC will run down after awhile due to poor maintenance. | |

| Just went last night, 1st time there. not too bad and not crowded.. my wife like its quietness.. . 1 credit = $6 per 90 balls. got promo as advised by the staff if buy 10 credits upfront will received additional 150 balls which is 900+150 = 1050. car park is $1/hr i think cos i was charged $2 for around 2hrs. | |
