Will grips spoil under intense heat in a car boot?

Just wanna ask if grips or other parts of the golf clubs will be damaged if left in the car boot under the sun. I realised even my IU cover can warp if left under the afternoon sun. So just wondering if it will also damage golf clubs.

It's not good to leave it under the sun for too long, where is it bad for the clubs as an overall not very sure but the grips will definitely harden.

Yes, is like microwave, esp if its older n has less lubricant in it.

i will normally leave it in caf coz lazy to bring up n down......if got mood to go range juz zoom off for a hundred balls.... much more convenient...

definitely no good to leave in car but still not too bad till the grip will harden so fast that it need to be replace so frquently....imo..

if can prevent to be in car,  sure good to prevent as comparatively will not be that good... but of course if it is convenient and easy for u to load and unload.... carry from store to car  n car to storeroom....

I will be leaving my clubs in abt 48C ambient day temperature (so i reckon temp in boot wld be 60C<) for a few days this week. See if they melt

It's not just grips which are affected. Golf bags, shoes, gloves given their synthetic composition will degrade faster if left for prolonged periods in a hot car trunk.

i have left my clubs in the car under normal Singapore conditions unsheltered for 1 week straight for a couple of times. What I noticed is that my stock grips have grown hardened.

thanks everybody for sharing. i think i will not be lazy and leave them in the car. hahaha

The grips will likely to harden and shaft is prone to warp.
