Hello fellow GRians,

would like to know if anyone has any iron shafts to recommend? Graphite or anything similar. For medium swing tempo.

Bro, why don't you visit a clubfitter. "Medium swing tempo" doesn't say very much and rather than risk it, invest time in visiting a clubfitter who can best advise you after seeing and measuring aspects of your swing.

In my case, I thought I would fare best with steel stiff shafts of 110g+ And I had some success there but I've recently tried (and loved) the Matrix Ozik graphite regular shafts which are 78g. They seem to work for me even though I never imagined that they could.

Just goes to show you that sometimes, what you think works may not. Best to get analyzed Smile

Is better to visit a club fitter and let him advise you...

Most popular one now is KBS for steel, but it's up to each personal feel.

Stable yet accurate for the steelfibres. Easy to manage and not punishing on the elbows in comparison to shafts like PX or rifle. i95s are a nice weight to play and pretty stable. But just try out what the fitters recommend and see which you prefer. Some can get used to steelfibre graphites easily, some just find it hard to switch and cant find a tempo to match if they have been on steel for too long.
