Singapore and southern malaysia is right smack in the sweet spot for 'Dense Haze' and batam / Bintan is covered under the rim of 'Moderate Haze'
Not sure if you still wanna go Batam / Bintan to get your golf fix... You are your own best judge

Played on 20th at Palm Springs @ Batam. It was hazy but not unplayable. Certainly nowhere as bad as Singapore but YMMV.
