Hi Guys, would like to share on how i purchase my golf balls, so that if anyone uses these balls can get them this way at a cheaper rate.

I bought 8 boxes of pro V1 2013 at 359 USD from a US site , and shipped it to a US address using hopshopgo. from there, i shipped it over to singapore for a shipping fee of 48.34 USD

I spent a total of 407 USD buying8 boxes of pro V1, which is S$513 at a conversion rate of 1.26, which brings the price to S$64 per box.

It is pretty cheap in comparison to the prices here, and the whole process took about 1.5 weeks to complete.

so for those who do not like used pro v1s like me and find that the price is a tad expensive in singapore, you can get cheaper rates like this and save in the long term.

okies FYI that saved u S$1 per box cos I just called Golf Direct on 67499979 n they said best price is S$65 for brand new pro v1 2013 model .... not sure if there is any difference in the quality of the pro v1s from GD or ur US supplier tho Smile

i should just buy from golfdirect then. i used to buy from those normal shops that sell at like 80 or so.

whats wrong with the older proVs at $49 per box????

actually they sell the balls really cheap, if not for the shipping.

based on past experiences...

i lost balls more than get birdies per round....

thus older balls give better returns...

If you delve into the nitty gritty of pga tour players, you will be surprise that some of them are still using older models of ProV1s.

Changing a ball is a very big step for tour players and some are reluctant to change.

FYI, I still prefer the 09 V1x though I tried the 2013 ones. It's just that I have been using them for a few years now and am reluctant to switch even when I have the new ones at home.

to me any type of prov1 is also good, be it the newer or older version, cannot tell the dfference, all in the mind i guess

its 'all in the mind' if u dun hit it consistently thats for sure.

There is a difference in ball flight and trajectory if u are used to a certain ball for a period of time.

Agree... Im still using those 332 n 392 pro v well kept with silicon... silicon doesnt change colour, meaning no moisture. I assume those ball still in ok condition...
