| Chemicalpro:
I dun do that type of range session very often--U can ask Sunny or Moon.
But sometimes, the sh*t at work drives me into "venting frustrations at small round inanimate white objects" rather than at kith-n-kinfolk.
Besides 200-300 balls is my standard range session anyways--just not at those ball hitting speeds.

Went tru 300 balls at OCC driving range within about 1.5 hrs like machine gun mostly venting frustration & de-stressingfrom work.
The guys in the bays near to tot I was insane prolly as I was mildly cursing and mumbling to myself almost the whole time after the bad hits.
That type of practice session is NOT recommended for absolute (or even intermediate) golfers.
But it helps me to face work the next day with a level head and a lot of patience with co-workers!
CK boss, practice makes permanent. I did that once and ended up introducing some weird funk into my swing. Took me months to get my old swing back.

| Hi Celine, Before you commit yourself to any swing school, shop around and talk to the coaches first. There are many good coaches around and a few swing styles. Find one that you are comfortable with and suit your objective. Cheers! | |

| Advice noted ghoonk.
But my swing has so many flaws oledi, wont matter much!
My pathetic 105 (blues) at Palm Villa GC proved this to me.
Trying to stabilise my lower body more with less hip movement and have slightly more weight on heels rather than toes seems to help at the EGC course & driving range today.
I only wish I knew this BEFORE the Palm Villa game last Saturday.

| You know the old saying, right? -- never try to fix your own swing, you just make it worse.
In my case, whenever I have a swing fault that creeps into my swing, I go back to the full length mirror and fix my swing plane on takeaway. That's it.
keep lower body still left elbow meets right shoulder, left arm bisects right shoulder shaft on plane, behind the neck stay relaxed swing easy/smooth keep lower body still less conscious hand involvement (let wrists break and release naturally)

I only remember a few while on course. These are the variables that make up my swing, but my usual swing problems are caused by lower body not staying stable, which is me trying to swing harder than I should. Therefore, I can either keep lower body quiet, or just play one club longer and swing more smoothly

| I have 2 swing thoughts: Right feet grounded through passed impact, & eyes in front of ball. Kinda works for me | |

| No such thing as the 'best' coach. One coach's teaching style may work better with some people than others. It's a matter of trial and error, chat with various coaches to get a feel of how they coach, then you should get an idea of the kind of coaching style, swing technique and personality that suits you | |

| Hi Celine107
I m currently taking lesson at Bishan Range under JT. The coach there are friendly and most importantly patient with their students. You may want to go down to take a look this Sat and talk to my coach. He can even arrange a trail for you. Another thing is the $$$$. It is very reasonable compare to other big guns in the industry.

of course i need someone that i am comfortable with.. and also patient with me.. i can be abit slow in learning personally, I feel its better to take a 1 hr lesson with any new coach first, if you feel comfortable with his style and you're able to trust and place faith on his methods fully, then sign on for a package. It's quite a trial and error process.
