I would almost bet money that the orginal reason fr white was not " alignment etc" mambo jumbo. like ralph lauren big crest shirt logos. it was just for tv. white equals TM . no one else did white.

makes as much difference ON THE GAME as the guy with the limited edition SC......IF i can find some1 who actually put in play his limited edition SC.

The cost of manufacturing a Black or a White R1 head is actually similar (only paint color is diff) ... Manufacturers always set a selling price higher than older models, if not no one will buy the old stocks ... Ppl usually have the habit and curiosity to consider and give priority to new models or something new that came on board ... This is only natural ... The manufacturers also wanna capitalize on their GP b4 they markdown their prices to clear stock "in the near future" ... Same applies to fashion/sport apparel pricing ...

The white colour scheme that TM uses is kinda similar to what Canon does for its L series lenses.

Pardon the truncation, this white vs black "scenario" is commonly seen at Olympic events, where the number of white lens users is often compared to the black (aka Nikon )users.
