Taylormade Black wedge Fe2O3

Ok I just want to show off what I think is a real beauty

I just got this from Ebay US. I know it's just a Taylormade RAC wedge, but somehow this one is really really really well made. It has an unusual black charcoal finish that is unlike any wedge I've seen. The milling and finish of the entire head is so very refined...i've tried my best to take closeup pics, but they don't really do it justice.

Now i'm thinking of what shaft to put in it. any suggestions? I'm leaning towards Nspro 1050Gh stiff. Just bcos I've never had a wedge with that shaft.

Looks really good. Those grooves look sharp enough to skin an ox. Like a Star @ heaven

Support the NSPro idea, though I've never played the GH1050 before; the 950s are very smooth already.

The 1050 is quite similar to 950? I M playing both at the moment. Both hav similar kickpoints. Guess the diff is probably weight.

I found this info on "Fe2O3" on the golfbidder website:

"Taylor Made RAC Fe203 Wedge. Fe2O3 is the chemical notation for ferrous [iron] oxide. These wedges are unplated, chrome-less versions of rac wedges, and are designed to rust..."

Also found this on a Golfwrx thread. Apparently the black ones are tour issued:

"Check for two dots on the hosel as another tour issue indicator. There are also black fe2o3s which are all tour issue... "

I bought this off an ebay seller from US. It's a one-off sale and I seriously doubt he has any more. I happened to chance upon it at the right time and got it before anyone else did.
