| With due respect to all the TM fans here....
TM is not really well known to make Great Great Wedge.
IMHO, I think the Go To Wedge is still
Callaway.... due to Roger Cleveland
and
the well known SM 14 wedge....preferred by most Tour players
I have a lot of friends who have shifted to this
even golf reviews swear its FAST SPIN Rate | |

| I saw a nice review on all the current wedge and saw a review of the TM ATV wedge.
Here it is....
TaylorMade ATV Wedge Published: Monday, March 26, 2012 | 10:37:32 PM
PROS PLAYABILITY: Testers can hit just about any shot from the sand with relative ease; blasts through even the heaviest rough with little or no trouble. DISTANCE CONTROL: Very consistent from the sand and rough; full shots stop quickly and predictably, in part due to a slightly higher trajectory. FEEL: Hefty weight makes the swing feel easy; good feedback on short shots and surprisingly soft sensation at impact. LOOK: Large sole instills confidence when playing from sand or rough; sets up square when placed behind the ball.
CONS Difficult for some testers to open the face for flop and other high-lofted shots; not the greatest from tight lies; odd look of wide sole is off-putting to a few guys.

| Here are two of the Best Wedge in the market. I prefer both because they are our "Scoring Clubs"
Callaway Forged Wedge
KEY TECHNOLOGIES: A unique forging process allows for 21 tightly spaced grooves to improve spin and trajectory control. The “C-grind” sole design enables the face to be opened easily, for greater playability.
OUR TESTERS SAY: This club excels from the sand and looks sharp doing it.
PROS PLAYABILITY: Testers can open the clubface without worrying about the heel sticking in the ground; it makes sand shots a breeze; good checking action on short shots. DISTANCE CONTROL: Shots don’t spin excessively, making it easier to gauge yardage; dependable and true to the loft on solidly struck shots. FEEL: Substantial feel and evenly balanced throughout the swing; good stability on full shots from the fairway or from tough lies. LOOK: Unique finish is attractive; classic head shape with straight, sharp leading edge appeals to better players.
CONS A few testers say flop shots are not as easy as they’d prefer; it’s minor, but some guys say the extra grooves detract from the overall visual package.

| Lastly, the Number One wedge in the market based on the New USGA Groove rule
Titleist Vokey Design Spin Mill 4 Wedges
KEY TECHNOLOGIES: The SM4 (the “SM” stands for “Spin Milled”) has milled grooves for maximum allowable spin on full shots, while a milled, micro-edge face texture aids performance (creates spin) on partial swings. A special heattreatment process strengthens the metal in the clubface without affecting feel to increase groove durability and maintain maximum spin.
OUR TESTERS SAY: One of the top-rated models. Strong in all categories.
PROS PLAYABILITY: Sharp leading edge effectively digs through rough, sand and all trouble lies; equally good from the fairway on full shots or around the greens. DISTANCE CONTROL: One of the best wedges on full swings—repeatable results on solid strikes; predictable spin and trajectory on greenside shots. FEEL: Soft and smooth through impact, easy to swing; slightly lighter weight is great for short shots around the green. LOOK: Sets up square behind ball and instills confidence on all types of shots.
CONS A few testers say it’s not appreciably better than the current Vokey wedges to warrant a change.
