| Hi All, Bought a New Cobra Long Tom Regular 10 degree last month and I am amazed it can driver 30-50m longer than my old driver which I bought in 2008. However, as Long Tom is longer than usual, I tends to slice it. Only on occasion when I executed every detail of my swing in perfection then I will hit it straight. I love this driver for its distance but hate it for the need to hit it with aggression and perfection.
Any advises from Kakis on how to play this club better? Or should I get a TM 11J?
Happy golfing! Cheers. | |

| i found out most cobra head is light esp long tom. so it matches with longer shaft to maintain a certain swingweight so it can go longer. i used t have an zl encore n loves the beautiful driver head. tried shortening the shaft n changed the shaft but still cannot get what i wanted anx in the end sold off the beauty at a loss. As what theh said , whe n u loves it truely u wish it can find true happiness. perhaps u can try tipping it shorter n making it slightly firmer. do it slowly at a quarter inch first n u can get it done at most club fitter. but u might end up having a lighter swingweight - can counter by having a lighter grip though. | |

| Bought TM R11J @ Taka. R Shaft 10.5. It is easier to hit compared to Long Tom but distance wise Long Tom is definitely further. I will go for consistency than distance... | |

If they can salvage your grip, then it is probably around $20+. If not, you will need to add a new grip, probably total around $40+. Or you can just change shaft.

| ok date set 15 Jun I also want to witness long long
Yes Teck's game has improved. I wouldn't say improve a lot on skill wise, just getting rid of the snap hook driver shot and being much more consistent........but enuff to shoot in 80s more often liao...well done
