Hua Hin Golf Festival - Aug To Sep

For those planning to golf in Hua Hin, Aug to Sep are the best times to go. This is during the Golf Festival and in 2012, green fees were at THB 800 per round (vs THB 2-3K for the good courses) and the participating golf courses were:
- Royal Hua Hin
- Palm Hills
- Imperial Lake View
- Springfield Royal
- Majestic Creek
- The Eagle Milford
- Banyan
- Sea Pine
- Sawang Resort
- Kaeng Krachan Country Club

It is expected that it will be repeated in 2013 but has yet to be confirmed.

Although it is rainy season in Thailand around that time, I read from the Internet that Hua Hin does not get much rain. I normally play my golf in palm resort.

Which course is the nearest to the airport?

Palm hills is the nearest to the airport....5 minutes away

consider the super long holiday (Hari Raya Puasa + national day).... hmmm.. gonna start planning for it.

Going to Thailand (BKK or HH) in end May. Anyone has contact for golf booking?

I am traveling for work and hopefully got time to play one or 2 games. Would be just need local golfing and not include hotel or flight.

I have only booked golf in Hua Hin (played at Kaeng Krachan Golf Club) in Mar 2013. My advice is to try different online sites like Thailandgolfers.com, Teetimethailand.com and Golftourshuahin.com becoz the prices may vary for different courses.
