| Morning all! Appreciate recommendations from members which Adams Hybrid to choose from.....so many models and versions (even from old model like Adams Pro, Adams Pro Gold....etc). Prefer the one with least offset. Thanks | |

| Just dont try pro black, unless you can hit like a pro. No offset means the OS models are also out. Go for newer models, may take advantage of the speed slot tech.
Adams make clear distinction of current hybrids models for different skill level. Choose accordingly lor
I play V4. Easy to hit and give good distance, but the feel is like hitting with a plank of wood.

| I find the speed slot a bit distracting to the eyes at address.. i hate to see the 'line'. But heard so much great things about Adams hybrids. | |

| I have a regular flex, 90gr steel shaft on them. Previously on TM heads, it sounded and felt nice. The original bassara stock was stiff. They were OK, launches high, which is good for holding the green upon landing.
I tried the super xtd series/fubuki ax on launch monitors, better feeling, longer but perform more like woods than hybrid to me. Rolls a lot. I prefer hybrids that land soft.

| I never played hybrid. I have 3 and 4i in my bag but the hit rate is like 40% i.e consistently inconsistent.
I tried 909H and G20, i hooked big time; partly due to its head that look like a sperm whale that gives me the hook feeling at address.
Also hit i20, handsome looking but feel like hitting with a plank of wood; in stock shaft S flex.
Ordered Anser, but feeling skeptical. Heard and read good feedback about Adams, but not sure which model.
Ok, thanks for sharing....can zoom in my search now.

Bro IGT, While I agree with bro Pushslice in that the Pro Black requires a certain skill level to get it to perform as intended, your statement in bold does lead us in that direction. The least offset is zero (with negative being impractical I guess), and Pro Black has got as far as I can tell minimal if not zero offset. Not a testament in any way to my swing but personally I've enjoyed and had good result from the Pro Black. Admittedly, it took time, but as the range work continued, the Pro Black got easier and nicer to hit. In comparison I also have the A12, a model next in the range with progressively more offset. And it's easier to hit. But I have less feel/control/sense of where the ball will go in terms of the feedback from impact. And the feel of a sweet spot impact, while lovely, is discernibly less rich and satisfying than the Pro Black, which feels really solid and focused. If I have to remove hybrids from my bag, the Pro Black will be the last to go as it gives such good results, both in terms of feel and dispersion.

| Just to add on, I used to play with the Adams pro black hybrids (2 of them, i think 18* & 20*). The almost zero off-set makes the address weird, have to play the ball in forward stance.
On a good and soild hit, the distance and feel is awesome.
On a bad, usually fat hit, I wished I had used my 5I or 4I, at least, the ball would go further.
I agree that these beauties need lots of skill (and rangework) to make it pretty!

| I'm one of those that cannot take the muted sound of the slot tech. The pro model sound better on impart... | |

Bro, I play the Super Hybrid XTD 19 degrees. Easy to launch, mid flight and reliable. Recommended.

Hi Bro, I owned the A12 OS -3H & 4H and also the Super hybrid XTD 19 and 21. A12 OS hybrid series are easy to hit and far with high flight. Super hybrid XTD series are killer with distance but not so easy as A12 OS series. Both series are wonderful hybrid to use ! Cheers!
