No girlie photos - 1st round of Honda LPGA 2013

Followed my idol, HYP for nine holes today before leaving reluctantly.......

She is doing pretty well thus far, with 3 under after 12 holes.
She was 2 under after first nine.

Actually, she can easily go 5 under for the first nine but lady luck was not with her. Her driving was spot on and iron play solidly sharply, giving her at least 5-6 make-able birdie chances. If only.......

Oh, HYP also came close to scoring a HIO on the 8th hole; narrowly hitting 1 inch left of the flag before spinning back to 2 feet. Of coz, she birdied that hole!



From the few days of being her 2nd caddy, I can tell that she is ready to win something, if not this tournament. Her tempo has changed to a smoother one, with less aggression on the down swing, especially with the irons. That should be able to give her many GIRs, what with her awesome tee offs.

If she can mixes her solid play with great putting, she can easily be in contention for this tourney. Based on what I have seen before, methinks top 10 finish is within her reach.

p.s. HYP also had some equipment change during the off season; and she is doing well with them......Mizuno JPX 825 irons with orange graphite Tour AD 85s shafts.

Keep a lookout for her, folks.......something special is brewing....

HYP not doing well at all for back nine.......gotta stay back for the rest of the weekend action to cheer her on.

What happened on the 14th? Saw that she got an 8 on that par 4.

with Rows22...one don't have to worry about playing at Gardens.

the Japanese beer have just lost his mind. went to the airport with us to fly home but with the snowman on the 14th, he U-turn back to the course to lent moral support. thats what being the #1 fan is all about. he has to pay through his nose to book the hotel at higher rate, lost his tickets and book new one plus pay a one way taxi fare from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya. normally he would ponder over changing a grip.....

we saw some of the issues with her aiming so Asahi is on his way to deliver the message.

apparently the putter cover was difficult to get and he got his boss and colleague to buy it for him in Japan so that Ms Park can complete the set....dedication.....



i think 2 pictures is enough...more and it would be an invasion of privacy...

From the pics, i think we can also feel that #1 fan's effort is beimg appreciated. Nothing beats that.

yes Ron! She was in a confident mood and did not let the opening boogie bring her down. enroute to a 3 under for a par game this far....

Will do my best here to cheer her on.

Let's just put it down to tough luck.....bunker to bunker, then top fly green, behind tree, tough lie, 2 shots in from there and 3 putted.

hiaz.....and this was the only hole she missed fairway all day.
