| So I had a freak incident today at the TPY range. Was hitting my 5 Wood off the deck when I had a bad swing, came in too steep, and the next thing I know - I'm holding onto a 5 FW with no head (just shaft n grip), with the club head somewhere out there on the range... Question I have for the bros here is this - Is this something that is covered by golf insurance? I have the (I guess) standard insurance that comes with the MGK membership. If not, then I guess it's time to go shopping again... Thanks! | |

| I suppose so. I had claimed an 8-iron and another injury under golf insurance before. But need to make a report at the range office. My 2 cents worth... | |

Thanks! It should be covered... check with NTUC as they are the insurers. Pollicy wording should clarify. Usually, you pay a deductible/excess of about $30-50 per breakage event. They cover the rest. However, they have the option to make payment or the option to reinstate, repair or replace such broken clubs subject to an allowance for wear and tear and depreciation. | |

| If I recall correctly, the standard MGK insurance has a excess of $200 or $250 for equipment damage.
However, if you opted for the premium insurance (top up $20 during renewal or registration), then the excess is only $50.
