Anyone tried Bangi Golf Resort or good recommendations along the way to KL?

Hi,

I'm having a road trip from S'pore to KL next week with a friend and we're hoping to play a game just before reaching KL. We're looking if anyone can recommend something that's say, in Nilai or Bangi.

I read Nilai Springs in another post but nothing on Bangi Golf Resort. Anyone can advise?

Also anyone knows if there's a website I can checkout the rates for courses in KL? Or someone like Oscar for JB games equivalent for KL region that can help?

u can try KaCang Hill.... also along that Nilai highway stretch before KL

Bangi is a short course...beginner friendly...i've always liked nilai springs though it's been ages since i've been there.....kajang hill is prob one of the better options......

You can try mygolf.com.my ~ has got quite fair bit of course reviews in there, posts & reviews may not be that current though.... Last heard was that Kajang Hill had been taken over by a new developer & it's slated for development, so you may want to ascertain further before making that trip there. Most courses in MY on weekdays entertain 02 balls with no prior booking, so there should not be any issues with walk-ins.

Yes, browse mygolf.com.my for info. Kajang Hill i.e the better along that stretch, might have closed down for development. Need To check.

Others are Nilai Springs, Bangi Resorts, Danau UKM and UPM i.e in Serdang; all within 20 km radius.

Nilai and Bangi are easier, relatively shorter course, wider fairways with carpet grass.
The cheapest i.e the toughest to me is UPM 2nd 9.

so coincident. I went up 28th Dec with 3 siao frens to Bangi. We played at Nilai MYR 72 _affiliated to NSRCC but u need the club recommendation letter only Ringgit 40 or u can use CIMB world card-need 7 days to book. Course pretty ok. Above average from norm Malaysian club.

Went dinner at Seremban then chk in Equatorial Bangi. Which is nex to Bangi Golf resort. Massage & supper at Puchong. Tee off early next morning Sat. Very Crowded as Sat. Cousre relatively short.

Thanks a lot guys! It was really helpful. Ya, I went on to gilagolf site and found a good list of reviews on many courses in M'sia.

Anyway, just to share; did a couple of calls to some clubs and got the following prices. All are walk-in rates for this week.

Bangi - RM 98/pax for noon tee off
Nilai - RM 120/pax for noon tee off

I'm taking the advice and just walk-in for a game instead of booking. Hope the weather is kind to all golfers tml! Cheers and thanks once again.
