| Tired the j40 dpc and cb at TPY range. soft and easy to swing (D1)
Can feel where i hit the ball on bad shot. good feedback.
having promo, at low 1k+ is a very gd buy.
Downside, limited choice of shaft available.

| Just played my first round with my J40 CBs... Fantastic soft feel and sound.. I've had to put quite a bit of lead tape on the head though cos D1 is just too light for me. Gonna have to fix up the lie angle too cos it played abit more upright. DGman... | |

I figured that I prefer using 'less' mainstream brands.. (more unique? lolx) I tried the Bridgestone ViQ series and I liked it pretty much. Any one uses this? any reviews?
I realized that there aren't many people using Bridgestone lol I 've heard of Bridgestone, car & bicycle tyres, mtb bike not Bridgestone golf equiptment.

| Hi I am a newbie who just started learning golf 5mths ago. now using a begininer's set. Im looking around for a new set of irons. I tried the J40 at the range and quite like it. I have not tried BFG irons. The some other irons that i tried, eg cali xhot, are in the golf's shop hitting into the net/canvas. i couldnt tell if i like them. For those who tried the j40 and BFG CB003. Can share your opinions on the differences btw these 2 iron set? Can share which website to buy and ship back that u guys are refering? Thanks much. | |

| If you like Bridgestone J36/40, there is a sale going on. Check today's straits times for World of Golf advert. Price is around $599 if I didn't remember it wrongly. Very limited shaft selections though. Good thing about fishy sticks is that it custom and very easy to hit. | |

| J40 are not exactly beginners irons.... Fishy sticks will be easier... And can be used all the way to professional tours!! | |

| Tourstage is for j tour only. In us, they only have one brand which is Bridgestone. Beginners I would suggest stick with your current set first. The fishy stick is forgiving but dgman mentioned before out of stock now. | |

| Just collected my J33 cb last week and hit some ball today. Indeed, J series is very good clubs. Feel is soft and forgiving. Too upright for me, did some lie adjustment with spencer at TPY range. Iron is ready for gaming. | |

| Reviving this post as I recently tried out the J40 cb and J40 dual pocket cavity at Taka.
Fell in love with the looks and feel of these irons. Unfortunately, they only come in NSpro shafts, and they don't cater for combo sets
I'm looking to have a combo set ie 5,6,7 dpc and 8,9,P cb. in Project X 5.0 shafts.
anyone knows where i can get this combo?
Thanks | |

Thanks I suggest you custom order from US. Might have higher possibilities considering your choice of shaft and combo of the two sets. You prob won't find much of a diff in price.

cannot make it. The irons more than make up for it though. Tourstage is their more "high class" branding. So you see repeat or similar designs.

I read this review on the J40 driver and they seemed to heap praise on it, even outdoing the adams 9064 which is pretty highly rated. http://www.mygolfspy.com/bridgestone-j40-445cc-driver-review/
