| Hi, anyone has played bridgestone e5, e6 & e7 balls? Am I correct to say all three are 3-piece balls?
How different are they compared to each other? I heard some are anti-side spin that help ball flight straighter and further.
Anyone can advice on the price selling at World of Golf?
Are these balls comparable to NXT Tour and Srixon z-Star?

| Think z star more similar to 3300
E series comparable to nxts

| Then zStar will need faster swing speed to compress the ball.. Social golfers like me may not be able to exploit or gain from zStar or Pro Vs | |

For both e6,e7,come to short game can't make it. Z-star and NXT gave me better roll for putting and better short game.It my 2 cent...

I agreed. Was handed a tube of z-star durg one of e game at Horizon last mth bt i m nt maximizg it. e6-e7 hard ball n provide gd bounce on fairway to gain gross distance (carry + roll), bt it lack certain feel in puttg. I m tryg out nw Srixon AD330 & Bridgestone Reygrande MD432 (Miracle distance). So far, nicz..

Bro I find that the part abt lower swing speed not being able to gain or exploit z stars provs and b330s not really true.I find that driving distance difference between E series and b330s quite similar, at most 5-10 meter. but I like the soft feel and control of the soft balls for short game, I want to know that my chips/pitches will check when on green. Like they say it not how far u drive, it's how u arrive. Btw u should consider the pentas as well, very nice feel. Imho

Imho Absolutely, the Penta balls by TM are superb! Penta 5 is believe to be equivalent to Titty PRO V1. I also find the Lynx Tour 3-Piece ball very interesting considering one only pay $19 per dozen ... IMHO, I find the Lynx Tour ball performs better than TM Burner Tour or non-Tour version.

This comment of yours I have to agree as I have tried PRO V1 ball before. I lost distance compare to TM Penta 3 ...

| FOr me, I found Nike Tour D suits me a lot. But I think it already End Of Line. Hence, Bridgestone B330-RX is a good replacement. Both are made for amateur swing speed and are also made in Japan | |

| I think E5 is a 2 piece ball, E6 and E7 are 3 piece. Personally I got no feel for those, prefer using others... | |

| E5 is a 2 piece ball, E6 has a anti side spin inner layer and together with the E7 are 3 piece balls. Excellent point made earlier in this thread about compression factor, that to me is the key. If you do not have the swing speed to compress the ball enough, then all the bells and whistles in the ball just don't matter. This is why the B330 RX is a great choice, multilayer ball made for moderate swing speeds. Bridgestone makes great rubber tires and by extension great golf balls, if that makes sense. | |

I ve tried Super Newings balls w such dual dimples. Introduce by my kakis n was told it gives gd bite on e fairway as well as puttg on green. Unfortunately i didnt hve e ability to max e ball potential. (compress)

| Since I'm stuck on a boring concall let me give my 2cents worth on the e6.....it's hard...the good news is that it's long and rolls a long way.....the bad news is that it's long and rolls a long way......
For driver, i think it gave me 10-20m extra distance (total) compared to the Penta.....unfortunately, i couldn't stop the ball on the green....i gave up on the e6 when i hit into a par 3 and the ball landed on a very deep green and it didn't stop til it reached the end and hit against the collar of the green.........this happened for all my approach shots as well.....for this type of performance, i might as well have used a two-piece distance ball like the noodle......
MT, at your level, and as recommended by most ball manufacturing companies, you need to select your ball based on its performance on the green......for chipping on the green, i mostly do bump and runs so the ball doesn't make a difference....but for wedges and irons into the greens, i prefer one with a bit more spin.......best bang for the buck is the TP3 for $39 at GD..........

| Gf, thanks for input. surprisingly to me is that according to ur review, both TP 3 and e6 are both 3-piece ball and the performance are so different.. THink I should stick to B330-RX to have a medium of both distance and spin. May also try the Nike Vapor Black which is $37 at Vinc Golf | |

| Hi MT,
I am pretty partial to bridgestone products, especially their balls and use the B330-RX normally. Pretty happy with it.
That being said, at one stage I was using the e6 as my drives were out of control and I was hoping for less sidespin ... there is noticeably less sidespin from the e6, but to echo GF, the ball does tend to release quite a fair bit. My shots tend to be higher than GF for the same iron, so does not release as much, but still noticeably more than with the B330-RX.
Another ball that has performed well for me is the NXT Tour, borrowed one from a flight mate cos I forgot to bring golf balls that day and was very happy with the performance. Seems to suit my swing speed and how I play my short game very nicely. Distance control on the irons was good as well, was pin high quite often, misses were left or right, not so much short or long.
