Vote: Worst Golf Course Cafe/Canteen/Kopitiam

at laguna, i was very impressed with their service level when i was there for a tournament few mths ago. u feel that u r in a 4-5 star hotel rather than in a golf cafeteria esp the way the staff dressed, all in smart suits/skirts/pants.

last sunday, bought a drink at TPY range cafeteria. the lady never smile n no thank u. bring the drink n ice to me n gave me my change without any eye contact or thank u.

This one typical Singapore-style service. No smile, no eye contact, no courtesy, no sound, and definitely no thank you. These are all add-ons. If u want any of the beforementioned, pay more.

Not all lah, OT here, but I must say Ding Tai Feng here and Uniqlo does give services.

The truth is that in Singapore it's usually the consumer who says 'Thank you' and smile at the service provider. Sinkies much? Suspect

Not surprising given that one's Taiwanese, the other Japanese.

MGBC Canopy cafe is absolutely rubbish, food so so, price ridiculous and service, what service, they got none at all. NSRCC comes a close second with lousy food and super slow service.

So far, I only received good service from our FT. Sad to say that as I m a Singaporean.

I think otherwise for MBGC Canopy Cafe. I have golf and range there for 3yrs+. I like the night scene and the place is very airy. Food is also quite good and I like Johor Bee Hoon, Mee Goreng, Ice Cheng Tng and Prawn Paste Ckn. The price is also comparable against other golf cafe, not expensive IMHO. Service is so so. Hence overall I still rate it V Good.

MBGC Canopy has the best food and view...especially NY fire works...its perfect....

the service has got to be one of the worst in Singapore at certain timing. Just imagine during a rain break and more than 50 ppl rush in to start ordering food and snacks!!!!!!

I notice due to the variety of food they have, they will prepare the food that has the most orders first. Choose wisey and your food can be ready in minutes, choose unwisely it can be 20 mins and several reminders latter

Quite sad cause the rest of MBGC staff are very friendly (except when the marshals chase u for the slow play of the group in front) . I know the Canopy is a tenant but ppl will associate them with MBGC staff.

MBGC is time for them to replace the old ballls.
Charging at such a premium rate, yet the ball quality is so bad...

Not sure how it look now. punggol few month ago I went there. The balls is dirty but the ball is.not bald and crack. The only turn me off is the grass carpet and parking fee...

Just ate some pork chop at canopy the other day.
the size of the pork chop was pathetic two pic of pork the size of mc-muffin!
the pork is so hard and taste is almost not existing that i have to cover it with ketchup to eat it.

Must be Poresia course's kafe.....
