| I guess between us golfers, that amount of money to thinking, we would be think wedges, skins , woods, drivers and shafts... Which accounts for many items versus to one iphone.
Do you think so? In the end, signing up a 2 yr singtel program wont that bad either just that we got to wait for awhile to get the set in.

If I didn't have an iPhone 3G already, I would be more keen. Right now, I'm spending enough on golf gear... not that the deal with puteh is offering is a bad one.

| It will never ends ! But honestly, when you start using Iphone, it is totally a different experience ! I have just upgraded to Ver 3 & make it 'extra freindly'. I only wish they would add a flash to it and increase the megapixel ! | |

| Seems like im the only one mad enough to queue for the 3GS on here at the moment. It's a great gadget though. Best thing IMO is the faster speed (i upgraded from the old 2G one), better camera wih video function and what appears to me to be a sharper screen. Also love the fact that fingerprints dont show up much on the screen. | |

| I'm not sure about the fingerprint thing. I tested my friend's and fingerprints still appear. Screen does not appear sharper though the camera has more megapixels so is sharper. And, as I mentioned... I've not noticed a tremendous increase in speed except in the browser and even then, it depends on the site being viewed. | |

There are still fingerprints showing up, especially if your hands are 'oily' from touching face etc. But it's definitely not as bad as the previous iphone i had (bearing in mind it was the first gen 2G one). Like I said, it's a great gadget for those who use the extra functionality such at the iPod, internet surfing, email and app store functions. The sore thing missing for us locally at the moment is the iTunes store. Luckily I have access to the UK iTunes store where i can get my music. But would I pay $1k+ for one? Probably not. I did stand in line for quite a while but i paid $88 for it...

| I agree... with iTunes and the apps, the iPhone is a great device (my US account is still running.. yippee!!). But my comparison is between the 3G and 3GS version, and I don't think the difference is big enough to force me to upgrade. | |

| For those iPhone users who wants to follow The Open Championship, there's a link to a free iPhone app at TheOpen It's pretty cool - you can get immediate updates, news and even videos through a neat interface. | |

| thinking of getting an iphone after much deliberation, always preferred a phone with qwerty keyboard, however due to the need to use some really cool iphone apps for work, am considering it. question now is whether to jailbreak the phone once i get it | |

| Err... I have a JB'd iPhone and a non-JB'd iPhone 3G. I think the JB variant gives you access to more funky stuff but quite frankly, I'm worried about security issues with the JB'd iPhone. | |

| I think mine will remain as stock O/s (when I get it next month). If I need something badly, then I'll jail break it. Think it's quite safe as you can revert it back to the original o/s.
Jo, $0 for what ? apps ? Most apps will incur cost actually...
