cobra s3 pro combo set

just went to the Puma sale over at MacPherson. The Cobra S3 Pro set going @$550.00. NS pro 950 Stiff. Any guys here using them? is it worth the buy?

Its an old set, but at 550 you can't go wrong...

It is a good buy if shafts are suitable for you.
Last I checked, Golf Direct has 2 sets going for $499 each.
Stiff shafts also.

S3 combo is good for the money you pay. I picked up a set from GD at 499 and no complaints. Alternatively can wait for a good set of second hand sales on the forum here. But if you want new clubs, at this price point these are hard to beat!

i'm having a 6yr old tourstage v301 iron. seve me well all these yrs. time to get a new set.

i think that for the price, you can't get a better set of irons...

i used the pro combo and full MB set for the better part of a year and i've recently changed to honma clubs...

for the full price of $1500 when i bought them, they are way better than any titleist, callaway or mizuno clubs out there... in fact, i liked them over my miuras at that time...

yeap... if you're willing to spend a little more, the new cobra AMP forged irons are really fantastic.... long and forgiving... however, do note that the AMP forged irons have a stronger loft than normal... PW is 44 degrees if i'm not wrong...

btw, i'm not sure how your ball striking is... but the S3 forged pro combos are very sensitive... very good for shaping shots... but also can be a little bit more taxing on off days...
