| Neber been a real Phil's fan....but changing liao....Saw on TV the interview on Phil and others after their 1st round.....I must admit, really enjoyed Phil's interview...he is chirpy, joyful and pretty genuine ....and more importantly not macam rushing off....very personal
Go Phil.....ok, I will also like Cannaway now

| Have to admit that I been 'overly - exposed' or more like sway by some bias media reporting....which claimed that Phil was a bit too-plastic..lalalalala........
But after seeing the interview, and his overall manner during the session......I can only admit....I was wrong

| phil is a damn friendly and nice guy lor... after his interview, he stuck around for a good 5 minutes signing autograph... when he was leaving, he took my cap and sign it, and came across the barrier to pass it to me, and still smiled and said thanks for walking around on the course with them (the pros)
another thing which make me feel that phil is damn good is that, normally u expect all these top name pros to arrive fashionably late, or at least reach the tee box on the dot. phil turned up for his tee time 15 minutes early, stood on the tee box and chatted with the rest of the pros from other flights... i was surprised to see him turn up so early for his tee time... maybe that's why he is no. 2 in the world..

| Try having TW do that. Sg will be 15*C in the daytime. Phil is genuinely the fan fav. He is nicely taking over Arnie's role of being a great golf ambassador. | |

| i followed Phil for 9 holes and his wedge and bunker play is really amazing. Far better than the other golfers i was following like Ogilvy, Quiros, Karrlsson, Kjeldson, Thongchai, Nirat and many more. I followed Els also but didn't get a chance to see his short game as he hit GIRs most of the time. If only he putted better. | |

| i managed to see his shot from a green side bunker. I think he is using a 64 deg. Full swing, landed the ball on a slope, and the ball nicely parked right next to the pin.
Man, he really swooped the sand there! What a shot!
I am rooting for him from now onwards...
