| Hi to all, Im very new to this game and would like to play this game within my budget. any recommendation for JB golf course to play during weekend for 100++ strokes player? Is that a better option to join the club in JB than play as a random player? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. | |

| As you are really new, I would suggest that you hold off joining a golf club for the time being. Courses in JB are inexpensive even at walk in rates, especially so on weekends. Check out Oscar Golf for discounted rates at JC courses on weekdays and weekends.
Try a few courses to see which ones you like in terms of overall experience (driving there, changing room, golf course layout, etc etc)
At the same time, suggest that you join my golf kaki (MGK) which offers a yearly membership so that you can get discounted rates at Orchid Country Club and Marina Bay Golf Course if you don't feel like driving into JB.
A lot of us start this way in order to manage costs after which you can decide after a year if buying a golf club membership will suit your needs.
p.s. don't forget to factor in the monthly subscription into your evaluation

| Try the 9-hole course in Permas Jaya.
It's reasonably priced and quiet on weekdays. Good practice ground.

| You may also try the Impian Emas 9 hole course too, price wise i still think its ok, as morning game on sunday you get some food voucher which you can have lunch after your game...
They have a blue and yellow tee, so that you will not feel you repeat the same hole as both the tee is at different location.
If you need some kaki in JB for the weekend, feel free to drop me a msg...

Just to clarify, they don't have white tee cause they just only have men tee and ladies tee... men tees is blue and yellow... it is not like the other course blue tees are for low hcp... So no worry... and not too many people there also... so you can take your time...
