Mizuno MP-650 driver for ladies!

Last weekend, my wife bought herself a men's Mizuno MP-650 driver, 10.5* and man, it really helped her!

She's gained like an average of 20M outright and fading it too! From a driver that is designed for better golfers. She's like a different golfer now.

She has owned and tried a few ladies' drivers from Maruman Verity (from her original set), TM Burner 2.0 10.5*, RBZ 10.5*, Callaway Razr Fit...

I tried it at the range but it doesn't work for me at all.

And she also got the Mizuno JPX800 3Wood in men's shaft too and that too is flying further.

Maybe I should give her my JPX800 on PX 5.0 sitting at home. Just kidding lah.

Maybe she should consider using the better Mizzies. This is serious.

i have personally tested the mizuno mp650 10.5deg US reg spec. i must say the feel is good, impact sound is classic (not loud) and ball goes straight and long. on the computer, i was doing 90mph and 230yards.

Yes- it's crazy. Her pro was teaching her how to use her old drivers but she was always slicing and dicing, etc. With this MP-650, it's long and straight. Hopefully, she'll gain more distance, etc as her skills improve.

I've tried my son's 7 iron and it is even more accurate than anything I've used. Maybe I should use his set from now onwards. Maybe should re-grip it...

To each their own and that's why it's important to find your own perfect equipment, obviously.

My wife and I just picked up golf almost 3 years ago. So, can't say we are experienced.

although mp650 is mp series, i find it easier to tee off and control than tm burner sp 2.0

I've always maintained that Mizuno woods and hybrids are under rated

May not be the longest because they don't usually make stock driver shafts in 46.5"

@pocketace: i tried the 3w and hybrid as well at Laguna range, the mizunos are pretty darn good. overall feel is balanced and there is no overpowering from the club, resulting in more control (for me, i guess everyone is different).

hi hi, actually most of the new models drivers are good.
The shaft is very important.
as for ladies, is better with atleast a 1 degree close face and also atleast about 11 degrees Loft.
It also depends on how strong is her so that you can choose the right flex, shaft weight and length.
