Mizuno Owners Thread - Soft and Buttery

I have been using Mizuno irons since I started golf about 6 years ago. Any feedback on Mizuno 825pro irons? Thought of upgrading from MX25. Thanks.

@handiman Just went to golf house at jem today. 
JPX 825 (NOT THE 825PRO*) (steel shaft ns pro 950) S-4I selling at SGD$849. Sales till 27 april. 
Asked the pinoy salesman about the 825pro and was rudely told off by him that golf house doesn't import them. 
Reviews on youtube on the 825pro are positive and show that there's a big diff from the 800. Also, they did a comparison between the AP2 from titleist and the shape and feel of the club are almost identical. Also know that the 825pro are not forged irons even though they look like one when you set them down for a shot. Mizuno made them to fill in the gap between the 825 and the mp series so it's supposed to give you maximum distance yet provide you with the "soft and buttery" feeling of a mizuno forged iron. Non pro is not forged.

Also there is no way the sales man would say golf house dun import jpx825 pro which is currently available in the jem branch. I do know sales folks sometimes do not know their stuff but quite unlikely they make suvh statement when they are not sure.

They only have the 825 & the 825XD. & yes the 825pro is forged (mizuno's grained flow forged). Sorry about the mistake.

im using a very old mizuno iron, JPX. Though it's an old model,  i like it alot!

Mizuno sure make great irons!

anyone is using MP4? Is it good? any feedback?

My coach is using MP series, which I think is meant for pro players. MP4 handicap spectrum is between 0 to 4.

Any one using the jpx EZ forged? Any comment / review/ feedback?

im using jpx forged. so far so gd. they are very forgiving. if hit it right, it will really give u that soft feel!!!

Im also interested to try a set of mizunos. But they are quite ex. Haha. Btw. Does the 825 comes with Graphite shafts?

825 both pro and non-pro version comes with graphite shaft. However as they are past season club , golf house may not have stock. The current version is it EZ series.

Botak, local JPX825 (non-Pro) starts with a 5...  (comes with 4 hybrid in US bundle I think..)

no bro, its a non-pro 4 iron.

bought my iron frm ebay USA frm 5-Gw. 

US hve 4-pw, Gw thus was hoping any bro also bought frm US n wanted to sell off tho chances very slim  

I'm using the 800 forged (asian spec). They are fantastic. Think the 825's are better in terms of looks, at least from the topline.

Any bros still playing with the MP53 or have upgraded? Getting itchy

As a beginner I started off with MP53, love at first swing with the sweet butter softness. But my swing wasn't good enough yet, went to seek help with the JPX800Pro Forged, after some time my balls were finally flying. I just jumped to the MP54 cause I couldn't resist the thin topline, shiny sole and signature harmonic sound. Had my first swing with it just earlier today, the mats were wet from the rain so the sound was distorted. More updates when I range with my buddy using mp53 to make close comparison 

Welcome to the mizzy club!! I'm currently gaming the MP-54 and loving the feel n trajectory it gives me. Previous set was a JPX800 and it was awesome as well! Hope to meet more fellow mizuno fans on range n on course!

Been gaming the MP53 for say two years now. Looking for something with a little higher ball flight....Not sure what fits the bill nowadays.

Hi bro TaoKoon, u can try the MP-H4 series which helps to get the ball up higher. Or u can try the new jpx ez forged, soft feel and high trajectory for soft landing..  

Any bros here tried the MP-H4 2 or 3 iron?

Any feedback? I m thnking of getting it...

Hi TaoKoon, have you tried the JPX forged series? They give a little higher flight compared to the MP53.
