| Hi Pros, thank you for yr directions; to the prawn fishing pond, kfc..... Now I think I know where it's located. If I travel all the way from US I'll should end up at either the range or pond, right? Sounds like Kangkar to me. Much thks for yr patience & help. | Abit of an update on the Punggol Range :
A few new coaches/pros are there now. The main chap is GL Tan.
They have a "boink the car" competition going on, something to do with the longest drive/shot etc, I do not know the details as Im hardly there on Fridays. Alot of people who are not Punggol Range regulars are seen at the range during this event.
Cafe is well stocked now, soft drinks, coffee/tea and beer.
Car Park - yes still got to pay, consolation is - it is auto now, no need to angle your car awkwardly when turning in to come close to the card receiving machine.
In general, bays are filling up more of late. | |

| I just went over to punggol range this afternoon lunch time while waiting for someone.
First time went there, only a few person is swinging. Area is windy, distance is clearly mark.
It seem like the range is just like bukit batok. Carpet style... balls will bounce high when landed.. don really like the feel...
What i like is the car concept... really push yourself to strike...

ground floor 2 golfers practising, surprising free car park got only 3 golfers,
Ponggol range will be worst being a paid car park! | |
