Punggol Range

Agree, otherwise, the exorbitant parking fee will drive regular golfers away in the long run. At least for me.

Same for me.

Now I have switch to occ. Thought punggol is near but occ parking is free n the range have regular promotion. 1fr 1. Overall, still cheaper.

If they implement free parking for that location, think we will have hard time finding parking lot. Mostly all residents from opposite will start to park all their vehicle over there. Esp those people like to go for night range will have hard time finding parking lot.

They charge parking fee there due to proximity of leisure area, HBD dweller opposite,
these ppl will take advantage if there's free parking espcially, cars, pickup truck and perhaps
lorries,, than golfers willl suffers no parking lots, than golfers will complaint, the Landlord there also face problem! Charge parking golfers go away.

But it has been a norm for golf range to provide free parking, so range has to be far away from
HDB, shopping centre....near jungle is best! Sure to have free parking lots!

Since punggol is developing, Why punggol don want to build public golf course like marina??

Than its has to be built at Lorong Halus, that's the only space left, Ponggol now along PCN
is called Condo intensive, its crazy all along the PCN are condos condos condos.....end to end..
no joking, Property developer are just building so much condos I am confused by their names!!!

Check e latest HDB development plan, punggol re filled up completely w district liao. All in either HDB or Condo!
There s no room fr golf course.

I do abit of cycling during weekend, turn your head left and right everywhere is CONDO. Once all this condo completed the traffic nearby sure jam big time esp KPE after office hour. Sianz

that's what the range at CDANS does. They rebate up to 2hours if you buy balls from them. What pisses me off is after i pay 100bucks for a lesson and another 24 bucks for balls, I still get charged 3buck for parking.

Beside range is a punggol NPC

I think the range operator is smart enough to differentiate between golfers and non-golfers. As suggested by another bro, golfers patronise the golf shops (at the range) or range balls should not be charged parking fee if driving range wants to get more business.
On the other hand, probably the range operator is ready to accept less business from golfers but making the car park a money printing machine. Possible?

If Golf range has got the initiative they should allow golfers to redempt parking
when they purchase golf token from shop, this would solve the parking problem
and improve on their business!!

You know Bukit Batok range (CDAN) is paid parking too but golfers who patronise
the range can redempt parking after the practice.

Maybe just to clarify amid the confusion. Punngol Range is operated by Poh brother, The seafood at the end is by another operator. They are the leasee. The land is lease by another party who also operate the carpark. So both the restaurant and range operators cannot stop the carpark charges unless they work out a deal with the property owner/leasor.

How i wish...if i owner, every 100 balls purchase, 1st 2 hour free parking..and develop the place more cosy a bit so that pple will stay longer..

think heard somewhere its LTA who owns the land and imposed the paid parking there which both range n restaurant operators oso prefer not to charge.. the cp at range is quite full but for most of the cp to the left of the entrance to the restaurant is always empty...

I think that place belongs to SLA = Singapore Land Authority!
