| Hi guys,
How do we choose a wedge....
Mainly we will be looking at brands, materials, loft n bounce...
When it comes to Face Progression, wat is the diffrenence between a 2mm FP n a 7mm FP?
Cant seem to search any thread on this topic.
Anyone care to share. TIA...

| I know very little on this, but I think its similar to offset ... the higher the FP , the lower the offset ... | |

| for me by looks, feel and sole design. Looks: straight leading edge, not round. No rusty finish either. Feel: soft, deep pitched noise, swooosh! solid feeling with little hash vibrations. prefier heavier wedges Sole: anything that's easy to slide under a ball on a tight lie is good. must test on course for this. Not too much bounce either, 8-10 enough. Spin: most wedges check enough for me..not much difference heck i cleared my wedge excesses last year and now accumulating again. bfg and tvd coming soon. still love my fourteens v5 and bridgestone tho' FP what? | |

| Thx for the input guys...
Yup, as mentioned by tourwing, its something like offset. Or put it this way, offset is negative Face Progression...
@pushslice,
U mentioned the looks of straight leading edge, so I suppose its zero offset n zero Face Progression...
So how does this FP helps in individual... As in wats the result, fade, draw, on impact, etc....

Very hard to hook/slice a wedge shot. Most misses are duff, top or shank.

Sorry bro, I think I've confused the topic a little... As most iron set comes with a pitching wedge, and the pitching wedge does have offset depending on the iron set itself... I've edited the title to wegde from 52 deg n more...
