| Saw this at the US forum: http://www.callawaygolf.com/Global/en-US/Articles/2011/performanceoverpaint.html Thats the beauty of US advertising. Say it like you mean it. No 'Brand X Brand Y' crap we are all loaded here with. Will prob give it a try just because they have b@lls of steel to go at TM head on. | |

| Yup gutsy, but they also got some legal advice. See the key sentence: "Results will vary" | |

| I see and hear this all the time.
in my kid's school.....Kid A said to Kid B .." My daddy is better than yours'. Kid B reply ' My daddy earns more than yours'.
Then sometimes along ECP.....Ah Beng A said to Ah. Beng B " my Evo can our run your WRX'....

From Callaway website...
TEST RESULTS
* RAZR Hawk average head speed is 1.5 mph faster than R11 * RAZR Hawk average ball speed is 3.1 mph faster than R11 * RAZR Hawk average total distance is 6.2 yards longer than R11 * R11 average total dispersion is 14.9 yards more to the right than RAZR Hawk
*Twelve shots per player per driver, normalized average values at a 95% confidence level. Player testing conducted outdoors at Callaway Golf in Carlsbad, California on January 19-20, 2011, using a RAZR Hawk 9.5 degree stiff driver and an R11 9.0 degree stiff driver using standard loft, neutral ASP setting and neutral weighting. Results will vary. R11 is a trademark of TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company.

| I am not a fan of adjustability on my drivers so the R11 for me is out. I do have a SFTP 2.0 in the array now.
I am waiting for the RAZR HAWK TOUR to be released before I give it a try but I have both the FT Tour and SuperFast TP 2.0 in the same shaft specs and length.
The Callaway definitely gets a more boring trajectory compared to the TM. I think TM has the CG set too low on this one for my taste and I am not liking how the ballflight is coming off the face.
The TP version is also definitely fade bias. The weight screw on the toe area really does contribute to a fade and I am a natural drawer of the ball. This is something I have to either get used to or easier still, go back to the Callaway.

| Rex, i'm building a cally set, lacking a driver. Which 9.5 head produce lower spin numbers with the least fade bias? FT9, FTiz, Octane, DE or DET? Assume we use a Proto K. | |

| I must say the Callaway Hawk is a far better driver than the TM R11 or Superfast... Flight is super duper penetrating and the ball feels so hot off the face!!!
Was trying this with a head wind and it just was like a hot knife thru butter!!! Tried a 8.5 with RIP 60S... Droolz

Wait for the new offerings. I am pretty excited about them as I think they will be pretty solid.
You must remember that low backspin can = high side spin sometimes so you might wanna juggle that delicately.

| actually this is a very stupid test. 12 person is not statistically significant. It is the classic toothpaste trick. Reduce 17% cavity kind of claims.
All you need is to conduct such tests until you get a odd result and then you publish it....

| No mention of 12 persons leh. just 12 shots per person per driver. It could have been 1-999 but we will never know. | |

| the Superfast 2.0 may be a better comparison.
really dont understand why pros need the amateur adjustable settings of the R11 when they have pros to do it for them (with all the gizmos such as trackman) while a better driver is available (Superfast, in white also)
Guess getting paid millions is the main reason.

Just so that I know, I painted my tee with white paint. For I think that it will help me to visualize better , henceforth will enable to increase my visual focus enabling me to aim for the contact at the sweet spot. With impact at sweet spot, it will give me a better distance (in relative). This is tech breakthru...i tink ok...tats the theory.......the practical is something which remain to be seen.
