| MC. it was not a just any good shot but a 300 yard drive with not a golf ball but a Muar Chee. no wonder Esq Bates and his cronies are suitably impressed.

| Guys just ask a nagging and sensitive question..
Is it ok to use another country's living leader as avatar in this forum and keep posting pics of him and his activities whilst making light jokes of it? Me not sure if other forums in other countries will use avatars with S'pore's political leaders in a likewise manner? I know if some political personalities are used, even tho they are deceased eg Hitler, some countries will get pretty upset by such use... even the use of the Nazi symbol on tee shirts have created much bad publicity recently ... Would mods condone the use of avatars of infamous leaders like Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden or Ayatollah Khomeiny here?

And will Berhard Langer come after you for using his picture in your avatar? (I assumed it is him) A lot of people use their idol's picture as their avatar. Singers, actors, porn actresses, animals, etc.. Why are political figures so special that we can't use?

| GR Rule 7 states: No discussion of RACE, RELIGION and POLITICS or any topics that may result in disputes and controversies.
A monkey nor a plate of muah chee is not anywhere close to above rule #7
GR also states that that it will never disclose your personal particulars to any 3rd party but “regret that we will have to cooperate fully with enforcement or regulatory agencies such as Police or the Singapore Courts when there is an infringement of Singapore or International Laws”
The moderators will like to urge everyone to post responsibly. Do not put up any posts that are: 1. Copyright infringement; 2. False representation of any persons/groups; 3. Sale of illegal/counterfeit products; and 4. Defamatory
I am only highlighting that we need to be sensitive in our use of avatars and postings that clearly do not infringe above #2 - False representation of any persons/groups;

| Jeff honestly you will make a good opposition candidate....sorry no offence meant but this is GR and not the republic of singapore....
let your hair down if you want to enjoy the company of golfers like Mervyn Tan and Desmond Aw. otherwise i am sure you have better things to do in your important job.
if you take offence of MC's picture of the North Korean leader, you are just stirring a tsunami in a teacup...

Would mods condone the use of avatars of infamous leaders like Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden or Ayatollah Khomeiny here? Hi Jeff, Appreciate your thoughts and views here. It is precisely such views which I hope to encourage. It is just like Newton's 3rd law of physics, for every action, there is an equal reaction. How does this have any link with what I am posting, you might ask. Well, my views and thoughts expressed in this forum are meant to be absurdist. Should you need a better understanding of the concept of absurdism, please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absurdism Life is already serious enough, what with the politics at work, the mudslinging in the public arena, and the financial issues at home. Let's just take a chill pill and enjoy the entertainment here. mUAr_cHEe and I might seem like bitter enemies in this forum, but if you know us in real life, you will see the contrasting natures of our relationship online and offline. In fact, I am even considering adopting him as the caretaker of my Pet Muriqui Monkey, if not for the confusion that it might cause, as I wouldn't know which is the caretaker and which is the caretakee. If you find offence with my avatar and posts, I would advise you to stop paying your internet bills as well as the newspaper subscription, and you would not be exposed to such subversive and controversial views again. Otherwise, it is best to take my account and my posts for what it is, pure entertainment. With kind regards, posting from the Cave that I live in to insulate myself from the outside world. Many Thanks.
