| Hi Bros and Sis,
Next time on the course and if you hear thunder please remove your ball marker from your cap if you have the clip-on one and put it in golf bag.
Have a plastic marker ready for use.
Jus my 2 cents worth. | |

| Good advice. Metal certainly attract electricity than others. To add to that, answering the phone or listening to music with earpiece during storm is not a good idea as well. There is some reports telling lightning struck user with earpiece.
However, whatever the theory is, always avoid in the situation. Because, lightning strikes trees (and Merlion) which not listening to iPod or not carrying handphone.

Lightning Strikes Reported by IPod Users By LINDA A. JOHNSON, Associated Press Writer Wednesday, July 11, 2007
Listen to an iPod during a storm and you may get more than electrifying tunes. A Canadian jogger suffered wishbone-shaped chest and neck burns, ruptured eardrums and a broken jaw when lightning traveled through his music player's wires.

Golfers ... try not to have you handphone in your pocket or waist whatever ..... and also no metallic objects on the head.... his other 3 friends were about 10 yds from him and only he was hit .... luckily it was not a direct hit ..... Lye Huat ... pls wake up !!!!! | |

| Hope he recovers soon w/o any aftermath issues.... BTW, what was he carrying on him that attracted the strike (other than maybe the golf club)? P.S. Does it mean that the ball marker on the cap could be a danger??? | |
