Lightning App for Android and iOS

Just like to share about this lightning app by NEA that is able to show recent lightning strikes in Singapore and part of JB. Able to configure based on the area you are in. Also able to show density of rainfall as well.

Handy when you are on the course, kind of like a portable weather system with you.

Just search for singapore lightning in google play or app store.

Just installed it, it is a good app. Thanks bro popeyex.

I downloaded it sometime back and deleted. Reason is that it only provide current info, unless they have updated the app. I think referring to NEA web by for 12 hour or 3 days outlook still does it for me.

The app is not primarily used for weather forecast. Its more for like what you said to get current info on where it is raining and where the lightning strikes are. Useful when you are on the course and it will alert you if there are lightnings in your area.

This apps is good as it can show part of Johor as well.

Actually, when I am playing, I don't look at my phone anymore. I prefer to rely on the lightning warning by the golf course.
