Warning Letter : Well Done! NSRCC Kranji

On Wednesday during our 2nd Big Match,

One inconsiderate golfer hit his approach shot that landed and stopped 3m from my buggy, with me in it.

Not only they did not shout Fore, they were also not remosreful that they endangered fellow golfers

I lodged an official complaint and Kranji was quick to respond.

Their Golf Exec called me the day after the incident. Purpose was to understand the case

He also called the golfer in question.

Today he called me again

He agreed that though the golfer has the right of fairway, nonetheless, failing to shout Fore and acknowledge dangerous play was his wrong doing.

NSRCC will be sending this golfer a warning letter to advise him to practice safety, failing which will result in a suspension.


Kudos to the Golf Exec for the fast work and the correct method in handling this case.

Wah!!!! That day Andrew very angry, walk angrily to their buggy to take down their buggy number, I should have take picture during the incident and post here, hahahaha.....

And u all panicked right? Dunno what I will do!!! Haha

Just to add, Andrew's buggy was parked rightfully next to the tee box on the buggy track.. The other golfer's ball though remained in his "fairway" (it was the rough to be exact), it was way off from his Green which he was aiming for..

There was no way he couldn't see the rest of us on the tee box and his ball flying towards our direction...

Even if he didn't know it would land meters from Andrew and our buggy, whenever in doubt, he should have just shouted Fore...

Yes, he should have just shouted Fore. That is the basic of golf etiquette

I guess what up set me after hearing this was, that guy did not even bother to apologize. We all made mistakes in life but at least acknowledge it and learn to say " I am sorry "

I understand how Andrew felt at that moment. It will be worse for me

That golfer was very aggressive and repestedly shouted "safety doesn't come first" ....??!!

I was actually worried for him to be honest.. Cos Andrew was grasping his iron very tightly..

Kudos to Andrew on how he handled that DipsXXX. Morons like that should have the ball hit to the exact same situation, or since "safety is not important" have the ball hit his kids. No fool like an old fool. The only thing dumber than an idiot is the one joker arguing with the idiot.
