hi, been playing around with my scotty putter with its original shaft and recently caught attention of the frequency tuned shaft used on miura putter. Is it really that good? Does it give you better feel on your putting?
Hoep some experts here can help to advise. Thanks

I fitted one but find it makes negligible difference from the original scotty stock shaft.. guess to me it has more of a placebo effect and makes me "think" i can can "feel" the ball impact better but in reality i dun feel much different... Its like "good to have" but not "need to have" kind of option... Maybe i hv not developed the necc sensitive tactile putting feel as some others may hv who will prob think the shaft is good and indeed filters away the bad vibes and only transmit the good vibes to the putter's hands...

http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/12419-ust-frequency-filtered-putter-shaft/

discussion on UST's version of it.

I know that Zen's proprietary shaft is supposed to be frequency tuned. Maybe DGman can chime in on that one.

I bought one to try on my putters and cut it down to 33.5 inches.

1. Didn't like it on my Odyssey White Ice - feel was too dampened.
2. Better feel on my Wilson milled putter.
3. Does not fit old school ping putters.

My take is not to use it with putters with soft inserts.

But it looks so good!
I am a sucker for the carbon fiber look.

I am not too sure about frequency tuned shaft for putter, but logically speaking you hit so soft with putter and I wonder the frequencies will kick in to feel the difference.
