Permas Jaya Golf Club @ johor

Hey guys , was looking through this golf course and found out that it was quite affordable anddecent looking was wondering if any GRians has been there and any reviews or recommendation?

Also looking for "driver"/one more kaki! ^^ to play at malaysia soon!

9 holes only....

That's my adopted home course. Long long time ago, there was a challenge between me and chocoman as he claimed that as Mickey Mouse course. Since we competed twice there.....he now called it his Waterloo.


The other honorary member is techno in addition to me.

It's a 9 hole course ....and it's long. Green is berry good. Cow grass......great great training course. C and G. Be careful......playing too much there,,,,u mite end up playing like me.....sigh

Weekdays rm25 trolley and rm35 for buggy, walking is preferred as buggy on track only. It used to be my home course but now playing somewhere else, green is hard to read and speed is not the same for every hole . Enjoy!

U cant get any cheaper den permas during the weekdays...

True that! Looking for virgin golfers to go there together with car!

It's a beautiful golf course. It's serene and stress free. For the price, you can't complain and like the Capt of the Greens (Duval) said, it's not a Mickey Mouse course. It's got length and poses a good challenge.

When we play there, we often try to play 4 ball. Ok, so it's 2 balls each but no one complains

yo! i can join you guys - begineer. got car but don't think can fit too many golf sets though. but at the moment i'm out of action at least for the next 1 -2 weeks cos i sprained my wrist from squash. jio me next time!

hole 1......straight par 4 hole.

hole 2...par 3....big green but 2 tier.....protected in front with bunkers

hole 3...par 5.....if you can 2 on fm blue tee, I buy you kopi.

hole 4.....par 4......small and elevated green. small fairway...OB on left

hole 5.....par3 ...need to carry 100m to carry over pond.

hole 6...super dog right par 4......for long hitter...tiger line is very do-able

hole 7...par 5....dog left....elevated green....2 on is possible even for me.

hole 8....small fairway...but pretty long par 4....bunker protecting left green

hole 9...short par 4....fm blue..need to carry 180m to cross bunker

i grew up playing at this course only...
for Hole 4, the OB is on the right..... you can borrow fairway on the left....
I personally felt that hole 1 is the toughest to get par for this course...

Those who frequent permas... Do u bring full set of clubs or half ??

My full is some others half

Just make sure u bring driver ... Coz the only thing that is short there is my drive

Nice walking course for me. No point of using buggy coz its restricted on track only.

Just bring full set, though it's 9 holes but the distance of the course is there. Pretty simple course layout but requires some distance...

i just tried this course 2 weeks ago, i think is a very good training ground for beginner like me. As the course a quite challenging and very cheap course fee compared to Singapore executive course. Value for money. will go there often to improve my skill.

I would like to try it out. If anyone has a ca, needs a partner and doesn't mind giving me a lift, I'm in.

Saturday morning 90 RM for 18 hole (9x 2)

For a nicer and safer training ground on a saturday or even the weekdays!

try out Christine resort just 10mins ahead of permas jaya!

*New toilets

*Carpark with security guard (barriers etc)

*Cheap at only 100RM for 18 holes

*Saturday morning only 2 flights the whole day... free and easy no rush!

*Signature hole a definite challenge and ball-eater!

*Up and coming club house with facilities!
